The Chapel from Albert Street
An Independent Reformed Baptist Church practising restricted communion
This page was last updated on 9th January 2009
Are you planning a visit to Oxford?
Or maybe you are already here?
In either case you are warmly invited to come to hear the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ at this old baptist chapel in Albert Street in the Jericho area, a short distance north west of the city centre.
While our congregation is not a very large one, we have been pleased to be able to welcome visitors for many years. Some have come from the next street, others from across the world.
Important Notice
We greatly regret to have to announce that the Reformed Baptist Church worshipping at Albert Street Chapel has reluctantly resolved to disband at the end of 2008 due to fewness of numbers.
Our continuing hope and prayer is that the Lord will raise up others to carry on the faithful Gospel witness which the Albert Street Church has sought to maintain since 1842.
